Cultural Experience Manager

Shanon is a Bidjigal woman of the Dharawal Nation, with unbroken connection the La Perouse Aboriginal community and Coast Sydney. Her ancestors include Emma Timbery, Minni Broughton, John Sims, Lucy Lyons and Esther Walker.

Throughout her career, Shanon has worked across both State and Local Government in roles dedicated to improving outcomes for Aboriginal people. Her work has focused on advocacy, community empowerment, and ensuring Aboriginal voices are represented in decision-making spaces.

At the Gujaga Foundation, Shanon continues to strengthen her cultural knowledge, embrace her responsibilities to community, and preserve and share Dharawal culture.
